Dear Nancy, Cole has been a wonderful family pet. He loves everyone he meets. I am amazed at how well behaved he is and quick to learn. My great Aunt always said, you cannot have a dog & a flower garden well we have both. Cole minds so well he knows exactly where he can go even when the cats & kittens tempt him. We loved our previous sable collie of 13 years but can certainly tell the difference in the two. Teresa L. B. Nancy, Just a quick note to say, Thank you for your kindness in sharing Lacey with us. Shes a fantastic dog for my son. He is learning a lot by having her as a responsibility. The first several days were challenging. We had to teach her to go up and down our stairways! We shouldve had a video camera on that routine. But she was eating well from the beginning and she knows sit, shake and lay down. She also hasnt pottied in the house since the third day. Shes very smart. Shes already made a visit to the Lutheran Home & is scheduled as a therapy dog in February at the hospital annex. So you can be sure that your gift to us is being shared! Again Thank you very much! Amy & Zacharis B. Dear Don & Nancy, I just wanted to write and thank you for such a lovely evening on Saturday. Thank you for opening your home, your warm hospitality and great food! Your home is beautiful and the atmosphere you create so relaxing & enjoyable. I was honest when I said it was difficult for me to leave I was so comfortable there. It truly felt like a mini retreat. You have created a wildlife refuge for both people & animals. I was reading today in the Psalms about how God is our refuge and hiding place and it made me think of your and your home, hidden away in the hills, not visible to all, but welcoming to those you invite there. Again thank you for your kindness & generosity and of course all the puppy love! Bless You! & Love, Susan H. |
